108 Shiva Mandir
A complex comprising of 108 Shiva temples, each shaped like a traditional Bengali mud hut. The Shiva mandir was built in 1788 on the Burdwan-Siuri national highway as per the wishes of Rani Bishnukumari, Queen of Burdwan. The temple attracts huge number of devotees around the year, especially on Mondays.

Muslin
Muslin is one of Burdwan’s famous export products. Locally referred to as mulmul - the weaving of muslin has a long rich tradition. Fine sarees and dhotis made from soft muslin are a must buy. Famous stores which retail muslin cloth are Adi Punjab Cloth and Bengal Cloth house.
