Netaji Subhash Chandra Island (Ross Island)
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island previously known as Ross Island, is an island off the Andaman Islands. The island is situated 3km east from central Port Blair. This island served as a capital to the British from 1858 to 1941, when the Japanese occupied the island, and converted it into a Prisoner of War site.
