About us
Sinclairs Hotels Ltd has welcomed travellers since 1971. What began in Kolkata as Sinclairs Hotel and Transportation is today a collection of hotels and resorts across nine destinations in India: the hills of Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Gangtok, the tea country of the Dooars, the gateway towns of Siliguri and Burdwan, the Nilgiris at Ooty, the islands at Port Blair, and Udaipur in Rajasthan.
What we believe
Our aim is simple: to curate a collection of value hotels that reflect the local culture and give every guest a truly memorable experience. Our hotels are intimate in size. Each pairs warm, traditional hospitality with modern comfort and takes its character from the place around it, from Himalayan views and tea gardens to island beaches and Rajasthani heritage.
Who we are
Sinclairs has been led for more than three decades by the Suchanti family. The company is listed on the National Stock Exchange (SINCLAIR) and the BSE (523023), and has paid a dividend to its shareholders every year since 2009.
